Organic almonds: prices may rise to EUR 9.00 per kg

...the US production has already been sold. High demand is driving up prices in Spain. Valencias are trading EUR 0.10 per kg higher and Larguetas EUR 0.20 per kg. Only the prices for Marcona almonds remain stable.

Organic almonds are still hard to find. This does not however prevent the prices from rising. Organic Valencias are now trading at EUR 8.50 EUR per kg, and experts reckon that prices may rise to EUR 9.00 per kg by the end of the year.
