ORDU. Ferrero and other exporters have resorted to well established means to put the market in Turkey under pressure.

High phase is coming to an end

Reports state that although the exporters in Turkey are still rather busy, trading activities should gradually become more and more subdued.  Most buyers are said to be fully covered until the end of March 2020. Turkey has so far shipped around 130,000 metric tonnes of hazelnuts without shell overseas. Buyers prefer to wait for the time being before conducting further purchases as prices are expected to decline as soon as the peak season is over.
