Sultanas: TMO adjusts commodity prices

MANISA. Sunny weather promises good conditions for the development of grapes in the growing regions. Due to low trading activity, there were some price corrections this week.

Surprising rise in exports

The exit restrictions in Turkey, which are still in place until 17 May, are having an effect, with daily new infections falling significantly since the end of April. Due to the celebrations at the end of Ramadan, no significant trading activity is expected in the second half of the week. However, 4,985 mt of sultanas and raisins were exported from Turkey last week, about 900 mt more than in the same week in 2020.
