CHRUDIM. Despite the current shortage of availability, some Czech traders have earned too much this year.

Little goods and too much money

Czech suppliers continue to hold back with their offers. Some of them even face the problem of fulfilling their contracts as they barely get enough blue poppy seeds from the farmers. Hardly anyone is able to offer additional shipments, and they won´t be able to do so until the beginning of the new year. According to the suppliers, some of them have earned so much money with the trade this year that they stopped offering the seeds so they won´t have to pay too many taxes on them.
