Cashews: investing in the future

HANOI. Last week the Vietnam Cashew Association (Vinacas) met in Ho Chi Minh City on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the foundation. The developments of the last years as well as current problems and future investments were discussed.

More independence in the procurement of RCN

Since the time Vinacas was founded, cashew production in Vietnam has undergone an amazing development. The focus here is on the export of pre-processed kernels, which are shipped to around 90 countries worldwide for further processing. In this sector, Vietnam accounts for around 80% of global exports.
