Coconuts: Germany increases imports

MANILA. The price of coconut oil can be influenced by a good many external factors, among them the development of palm oil prices, as well as exchange rate fluctuations.

In addition to that, the scarcer availability of raw material itself is causing a slight upward trend and export figures of coconut oil, as opposed to desiccated coconut, have been declining this year.
