Czech Republic: mandatory face masks and exclusive shopping hours for senior citizens

PRAGUE. From today on, safety regulations to contain covid-19 are reportedly being tightened.

Persons over 65 years of age may go shopping exclusively between 10 and 12 o'clock. At the same time, all citizens are obliged to wear a face mask. Those who do not have a face mask must put a scarf or similar in front of their mouth. Since 16 March there is a curfew in the Czech Republic. People are only allowed to leave their homes when it is inevitable, for example when they go to work or do their groceries. The current status is that the nationwide quarantine measure is in effect until 24 March 2020 at 6 a.m.
