Dried Apricots: Attractive prices for the 2018 crop

MALATYA. Dried apricots from the new crop will finally be promoted next week. There are, however, also small supplies left from last year's crop.

 

Discounts are possible

Most exporters in Turkey are busy meeting existing contracts. They are no longer receiving enquiries for prompt shipments. This is why the prices for the remaining supplies from last year are relatively stable. Price negotiations are, however, still possible and discounts of 50-100 USD/mt can be obtained.

In Malatya the apricots have been laid out for drying. The new export season will start in a few weeks. Local market players report that the fruits make a good visual impression. In addition, all sizes should be availab
