Dried apricots: The export prices for the new crop

MALATYA. Due to unfavourable weather conditions, dried apricots shipments from the new crop will be delayed. The prices for new crop have, however, already been issued.

New crop still is more expensive

Usually, the export season for dried apricots starts around the beginning of August. This year, however, cooler temperatures and rain will most certainly delay the start of the season by up to two weeks. Meanwhile, the exporters have issued the first official prices for the new crop. These offers are only valid for a few days, and depending on the size the prices range USD 50-150 per metric tonne higher than the current prices for last year's crop.
