MALATYA. While the Turkish apricot market remains quiet, exports continue despite all obstacles – albeit at a significantly slower pace than last year. Prices remain stable.

Low trading activity

As expected, the Turkish dried apricot market remains quiet and shows little change from recent weeks, as there is hardly any significant trading activity. Commodity prices for the small remaining stocks are TRY 370/kg for dried apricots, no 2, and TRY 320/kg for no 4. Organic apricots are trading at TRY 850/kg. Export prices also remain unchanged, with no 2 dried apricots still trading at USD 10.30/kg FOB Mersin.
