MALATYA. The Turkish dried apricot market remains quiet, whilst demand is picking up slightly. Prices have stabilised, yet growers are still awaiting a decision from the TMO on possible purchase prices.

Demand picks up slightly

The Turkish Meteorological Institute is forecasting a cloudy week for Malatya. Temperatures are expected to reach 13 to 15°C at night and 28 to 31°C during the day. The market for dried apricots remains quiet, although market players report a slight increase in demand. At the same time, commodity prices have stabilised at last week’s level.
