... continue to trade stable at last week's level and prices still differ widely. Sulphured no 2 dried apricots are trading in a range of USD 2.90-3.25 perkg FOB Mersin. Smaller dried fruits, such as no 8, are also display a wide price gap between USD 1.80 and 2.00 per metric tonne FOB Mersin. Although this seasons supplies of large dried apricots such as jumbos and no 1 are very much limited, subdued demand has so far failed to drive up prices. They have also leveled off at last week's level.

MALATYA/REUS. According to current estimates by the INC, global dried apricot production is down by almost 50% on last year due to crop failures in Turkey. Turkish exports are also significantly slower, with prices remaining stable.
