MALATYA. Turkish market players report that organic farmgate goods are now sold out and expect price increases in the near future. Furthermore, it is reported that the TMO has not carried out any intervention buying.

Weather conditions have calmed down

Producers from the Malatya region report that temperatures are now back to normal for the season; the previously very mild temperatures had caused them concern. The organic raw material sector is facing the same problem as the organic sultanas, as the farmgate goods been sold out. A few exporters still have stocks of organic apricots, No. 4, and are offering them at prices of USD 6,060/mt FOB Mersin.
