MALATYA/REUS. The INC anticipates a massive increase in production compared with last year, as the crop in Turkey has recovered. There, prices for dried apricots have seen a considerable adjustment compared with last week.

Harvest continues at higher altitudes

It rained again in Malatya last weekend. Following a few cooler days, temperatures are set to rise again this week. The Turkish Meteorological Institute forecasts night-time temperatures of 17 to 19°C and daytime temperatures of 31 to 36°C. The harvest in the plains is now complete, whilst it continues in the higher-altitude regions.
