Dried apricots: subdued trading activities

MALATYA. In the higher altitudes it may start to snow soon. Trading activities are also becoming more and more subdued in Turkey. In addition, the farmers are reluctant to sell.

Farmers refuse to sell

The growers still hod an estimated 30% of production. These volumes will only arrive in the market when the farmers require money are able to gain higher prices. Farmgate prices currently ramge at TRY 13.00-18.00 per kg depending on size. Most exporters, however, still have enough stocks to maintain stable prices.
