Dried apricots: top 3 producers increase production

REUS/MALATYA. As reported by the INC, the three main producing countries for dried apricots were able to achieve production increases this season. Turkish exports are currently almost as high as last year.

Turkey widens gap

According to the latest data from the International Nut and Dried Fruit Council (INC), global dried apricot production for the 2021/22 season is almost at the same level as the previous year, with only a nominal decline of 1.6%. Turkey remains the top producing country with 95,000 mt, followed by Iran with 26,000 mt and China with 6,000 mt.
