MALATYA. TARSİM is under fierce criticism as many producers, who were hit by the devestating frost event in April, are receiving no support. Trading has come to a halt for dried apricots.

Eid al-Adha puts trading to a standstill

Trading is still very much limited in Turkey. Most companies have already closed for the Sacrifice holiday, which starts on Thursday. Yet, the mood is heated as the frost witnessed in April has wiped out entire crops adn producers feel betrayed.
