BEIJING. High prices are reducing the competitiveness of Chinese adzuki beans on the world market, which is also reflected in exports. The mung bean harvest is imminent and the acreage for red kidney beans is larger than last year.

According to local market players, prices for black kidney beans on the Chinese domestic market have fallen slightly in recent weeks. This is not yet reflected in export prices, which are unchanged from last month at USD 1,260/mt FOB Dalian for conventional black kidney beans, 99.95% purity.
