Dried figs: conditions still favourable

AYDIN. Production estimates for dried figs are circulating in Turkey. A small volume is still available. Weekly exports have surged.

Current crop predictions

At present, temperatures range at 20-23C (68-73F) at night and at 34-40C (93-104F) throughout the day in Aydin. Yet, forecasts state that the weather is to turn cooler towards the end of the week. Although these conditions are still favourable and the quality of the figs is still good, fluctuations may easily change this.
