AYDIN. Turkish dried fruit exporters expect feedback on their first dried fig shipments of the new crop by the end of this week at the latest. Until then, trade will remain stagnant.

Trading activity in the Turkish dried fig market remains low. Exporters are still waiting for feedback on their first exports. The results should finally be available by the end of this week. Until then, raw material purchases will be put on hold and prices will remain stagnant. Small to medium-sized dried figs are trading at TRY 210-230/kg, while larger fruits are trading at TRY 275/kg. Dried figs, Lerida, no 2 are currently being offered at USD 11,500/mt FOB Izmir.
