More than 3,000 mt of dried figs exported

On 28 September 2026, Turkey officially kicked off the 2026/2027 export season for dried figs and dried fig products. Trade volumes are still at a moderate level, but market players expect the pace to pick up soon. In the first week of the new export season, 3,183 mt of dried figs and dried fig products were shipped overseas. In the same week of the previous year, exports stood at 648 mt; however, these shipments were still from the 2024 crop, as the 2025/2026 export season did not begin until 15 October 2025.
