Rising demand at the end of the year

The upcoming Christmas season has led to a trend reversal in the Turkish dried fig market. Prices are maintaining the high levels of recent weeks and yet demand is increasing. Dried figs usually experience their main sales season between October and December, when a comparatively large proportion of dried fig supplies are exported, as the fruits are in particularly high demand during the festive season.
