AYDIN. Rainfall benefits the growing regions. As long as growers do not lower their prices, exporters must stick to the current offers.

Stable market

Slightly cooler temperatures are expected in Aydin this week. However, the increased rainfall is expected to continue, which is very beneficial for the growing regions.

The market situation has remained unchanged for weeks and prices also remain stable. As long as growers do not lower their commodity prices, it is not possible for exporters to make more attractive offers to overseas buyers. Medium and small dried figs are currently trading at TRY 260-300/kg, while export prices for dried figs, Lerida, no 2 are at USD 11,900/mt FOB Izmir.
