Dried figs: Price adjustments expected

AYDIN. Only shortly before the harvest, the prospects for the dried fig production in Turkey were promising - then the rain came.

 

Lack of potential

As a rule, about 50-60% of the season’s dried fig exports are made between October and December. Based on this and the limited supplies of exportable products and the high price level, market players expect 50,000-55,000 mt of dried figs to be exported from Turkey this season at the very most.
