AYDIN. With the harvesting of fresh figs underway the quality is said to be good. The Tariş purchasing price is a matter of debate. Exports are unable to catch up.

Good quality

The fresh fig harvest continues. Buharkent fresh figs, harvested an average of 15 days earlier than in other regions, contribute significantly to the district's economy. Buharkent's yellow-lobed fresh figs are renowned for their aroma, flavour, colour, and richness. Initially priced at around TRY 250/kg, they are now selling for around TRY 150/kg.
