AYDIN. Market players in Turkey report that fruits have dropped from the trees in some regions. The exact volumes are, however, not yet known.

Trees are shaking off fruits

Figs that have not been fertilised are shaken off the trees. This is currently happening in some growing regions in Turkey. In how far these volumes may be unusually large will only show over the next few days. Market players, in principal, continue to expect a good crop and a high-yield dried fruit production.
