Dried sour cherries: farmgate prices increased by 66%

IZMIR. Good demand prompted Turkish growers to produce more dried sour cherries. Due to the significantly higher costs for farmers this year, commodity prices were drastically increased compared to last year.

Dried fruit from the new crop are available

Sour cherries have been harvested in Turkey since April. Both harvesting and production of the dried sour cherries are completed in the meantime and the goods from this year's production are available on the market.
