Flaxseed: Canada's exports reach ten-year high

NUR-SULTAN/OTTAWA. September 2020 was the strongest import month for Canadian flaxseed in the last ten years in Germany. Meanwhile, market players report delays in delivery at the Kazakh-Chinese border.

Deliveries more expensive after the turn of the year

According to market players, there are delays in export clearance at the Kazakh-Chinese border due to the strict coronavirus measures. As a result, Chinese demand for Kazakh flaxseed has declined. Meanwhile, shipments of raw materials from Kazakhstan to the EU should be possible at a lower level than last week.
