However, due to the relatively late start, traders fear that significant positions from the upcoming crop will not be available in the market before November. The price for brown flaxseed with a 99.9% purity is similar to last week's at EUR 0.81/kg DDP Germany, golden flaxseed is only slightly more expensive with offers from EUR 0.84/kg DDP Germany.
