NUR-SULTAN/OTTAWA. There is disagreement in the Kazakh flaxseed market about the available stocks. Meanwhile, Canadian traders are hoping for a further increase in exports in the coming season.

Concern about delivery dates

The flaxseed market is currently quiet, prices have largely stabilised, while some suppliers have even made slight price reductions due to low demand, in order to test when buyers will start buying again. As the sowing season in Kazakhstan is still a few weeks away, some market players are now afraid that the new crop might not be available on the Western European market before November.
