NUR-SULTAN. Cultivation estimates for the 2021 Kazakh flaxseed crop diverge significantly. Meanwhile, heat and drought are causing noticeably reduced crop expectations. This is also reflected in prices.

Flaxseed farmers can hold out

It is hard to imagine the Russian and Kazakh oilseed markets without flaxseed, and the industry is investing diligently. In the meantime, several new and modern warehouses and cleaning facilities have been put into operation, making it easier for producers to store their goods domestically until prices reach a level that is attractive for them.
