ASTANA/MOSCOW. Kazakhstan is one of the largest producers and exporters in the international flaxseed market. This season’s exports of flaxseed oil are also impressive.

 

Flaxseed oil is also popular

Kazakhstan shipped 9,100 mt of vegetable oils overseas in the first month of the season, which is an absolute peak value. Sunflower oil may account for about half of the export volume, but the exports of flaxseed oil have reached a new September record with 2,600 mt. China is the sole export destination.
