Flaxseed: Traders bid farewell to low prices

FRANKFURT/LODZ. Cheap prices have given a lift to exports from Russia this year. Kazakhstan, however, looses out.

 

New crop is to become more expensive

The prices for the current crop from Eastern Europe continue to rise. It is not only the traders in Poland who have increased their prices, the farmgate prices are also on the rise in the countries of origin. At 495 EUR/mt DDP Germany the prices have now approached a similar level as in the last two years.
