Wide price gaps

As the large amounts rejected by Ferrero had to be replaced with high quality raw nuts exporters are having even more trouble finding supplies in good quality. Some stockists, who were speculating on higher prices, are also forced to liquidate part of their volumes as these were financed at high interest rates. Although raw material prices improved slightly after Ferrero’s purchases, export prices have retained the small percentage dip witnessed last week.
