ORDU. Weekly exports have surged by a stunning 33% for hazelnuts in Turkey. Export prices have taken a rather surprising turn. Ordu and Giresun have witnessed snow.

Strong exports

Weekly exports surged to 6,674 mt between 17 and 23 February as statistics issued by the Black Sea Exporters Association show thereby marking a stunning 33% rise on the 5,003 mt exported in the same week last year. One reason is that Ferrero has been actively sourcing, which has prompted exports to outperform the past two years.
