FRANKFURT. Monitoring of the oilseed sector with day-to-day price comparisons.

Rainfall in the growing areas still does not allow a reliable estimate of the coming sesame seed crop and possible crop damage. The fields are currently being surveyed and more details should be available next week. Nevertheless, the prices were subject to slight fluctuations at the beginning of this week, with white sesame seeds being slightly cheaper, while black sesame seeds are at USD 2.26/kg CIF Hamburg and therefore up EUR 0.02/kg on last week.
