Oilseeds update: desperate attempts to attract buyers

FRANKFURT. Monitoring of the oilseed sector with day-to-day price comparisons.

The blue poppy seed traders in the Czech Republic are virtually receiving no enquiries. Even the farmers are starting to feeling the impact of the subdued demand. Although supplies have by no means improved, the prices in the Czech Republic have now dropped to EUR 2.80 per kg FCA. Market palyers are convinced that the prices may decline even further if the buyers fail to respond.
