Oilseeds update: organic offers are limited

FRANKFURT. Monitoring of the oilseed sector with day-to-day price comparisons.

Due to the lack of demand in China the sesame seed market has come under pressure in Africa. The situation has also prompted traders in India to cut their prices. Meanwhile, blue poppy are trading in a firm range in the Czech Republic.

In China, grade A shine skins are trading in a range of USD 2.81-2.97 per kg CFR Hamburg and grade AA kernels in a narrower range of USD 3,41-3,48 per kg. While some suppliers can no longer offer organic kernels, others are offering organic Grade A shine skins for USD 3.11 per kg CFR Hamburg. Organic grade AA shine skins are trading at USD 3.81 per kg
