Oilseeds update: the pressure is on

FRANKFURT. Monitoring of the oilseed sector with day-to-day price comparisons.

Although nominal fluctuations are occurring in the sesame seed market in India, prices have remained relatively low. By contrast, limited supplies have driven up the prices for bakery sunflower kernels as more and more suppliers close for the summer. Encouraging production prospects continue to add pressure to the blue poppy seed marekt in the Czech Republic.
