Oilseeds update: prices for prompt offers decrease slightly

FRANKFURT. Monitoring of the oilseed sector with day-to-day price comparisons.

Prices for Chinese pumpkin seeds are largely stable, although there can be price variations of several hundred dollars per tonne, depending on the suppliers. Some market players do not expect significant price reductions in the coming months due to the prospect of smaller acreages.

According to market players, sowing delays of up to one month for this year's sunflower seed crop are to be expected in countries such as Moldova and Bulgaria. It is uncertain whether these delays will have negative consequences for the yield. The current price trend nevertheless gives hope for
