THERAN/FRESNO. Attractive prices have propelled Iran’s pistachios exports to a four-year high. Yet, the tide is turning. Contrary to this, US exports have slumped by 30% with Poland being the biggest surprise.

Iran’s exports have not only nearly doubled on last year in the past five months but also mark the best performance in four years as suppliers highlight. Official Iran Pistachio Association (IPA) figures show that Iran exported a stunning 105,035 mt between October 2024 and February 2025.
