Pistachios: Germany cuts imports by 67%

SACRAMENTO. US exports in September 2020 were up year-on-year, but shipments to Europe and especially to Germany experienced a massive slump.

China increases imports sixfold

According to the Administrative Committee For Pistachios, 10,218 mt of pistachios were exported from the USA in the first month of the 2020/2021 season, about 12% more than in September 2019, while domestic demand increased by 9% to 7,920 mt.
