Almonds: US supplies decline by 4%

SACRAMENTO. The Almond Board of California (ABC) has issued the first position report for the new season.

Carry over stocjs decline by 11%

The carry-over stocks from 2018/2019 range at 144,387 metric tonnes, which is about 11% or 18,000 mt less than last year. The production estimates for the new season currently range at 998,000 metric tonnes. This season's total US supplies therefore range at 1.14 million metric tonnes, which is a declined of 4.2% over last year. As much as 90,878 metric tonnes from this year's crop have already been registered, last year's figure ranged lower at 85,955 metric tonnes.
