ASTANA. Compared to the last two years, prices for Eastern European flaxseed have been at a relatively high level in recent months. In the coming weeks...

... however, the availability of new linseed can be expected to increase, which is why market participants expect prices to fall.

Prompt deliveries are currently offered at 0.52 EUR/kg DDP Germany. Since the latest offers for raw seeds (97% purity) from Kazakhstan are around 0.29 EUR/kg FCA, experts expect the prices for brown flaxseed, 99.9% purity to decline below 0.48 EUR/kg DDP Germany within the next six weeks.
