Oilseeds update: new pumpkin seed crop on offer in China

FRANKFURT. Monitoring of the oilseed sector with day-to-day price comparisons.

Although traders in India adjusted their prices for sesame seeds at the beginning of the week, it can generally be said that the prices for hulled sesame seeds are laregly stable, whereas natural sesame seeds are trading nominally lower.

The prices on offer in China for the new pumpkin seed crop range below the prices on offer over the last few months. Prices, however, vary greatly by several hundred US dollard per tonne depending on supplier. GWS kernels are trading in a range of USD 2.25-2.40 per kg CIF Hamburg and shine skins in a more narrow range of USD 2.25-2.35 per kg CIF Ham
