NUR-SULTAN/KIEV. The farmers in Kazakhstan are in no hurry to sell and supplies are limited in the Ukraine.

Shipments progressing sluggishly

Market players are still reckoning with a good production Kazakhstan. More than 800,000 metric tonnes will be harvested on around 1.3 million hectares this year. Shipments are, however, only progressing sluggishly. Farmgate prices start at EUR 310 per metric tonne FCA Kostanay for large buyers, whereas prices ranged lower at EUR 305 per metric tonne last week. By the time the seeds have been cleaned and shipped, the prices for brown flaxseed with a 99.9% purity will range at EUR 0.52 per kg DDP Germany without margins. Buyers seeking
