Oilseeds update: poppy seeds are sold out in Spain

FRANKFURT. Monitoring of the oilseed sector with day-to-day price comparisons.

Traders in India report that the prices for sesame seeds have remained stable over the last few days. As the prices in India cannot compete with the prices on offer in Africa the exporters are only expected to win a few bids in the tender for South Korea, which will start on 4 December. Meanwhile, the run on pumpkin seeds and on pumpkin kernels continues in China. The prices for GWS grade AA kernels range at USD 2.78-2.80 per kg CFR Hamburg.
