FRANKFURT. Monitoring of the oilseed sector with day-to-day price comparisons.

By the end of this week, the results of the new sesame tender from South Korea are to be expected. A total of 6,600 metric tonnes are to be purchased via the current tender. Prices of exporters in India are significantly higher than the ones of their African competitors. As an example, African exporters offer sesame seeds, natural, 99,9% purity for USD 1.550 per metric tonne FOB Djibouti. The Czech blue poppy  seed market is still very quiet and market players expect prices to decline a little in the coming days due to weak demand.
