Oilseeds update: traders adjust prices

FRANKFURT. Monitoring of the oilseed sector with day-to-day price comparisons.

Nominal fluctuations excepting, sesame seeds continue trading in a stable range in Indian. Pumpkin seed exporters in China, however, report that it hardly makes sense to purchase Grade A GWS kernels. Problem is that the supply squeeze has driven prices up so high the Grade AA kernels are only nominally more expensive. Prices vary by around USD 100 per metric tonne depending on supplier.
