FRANKFURT. Monitoring of the oilseed sector with day-to-day price comparisons.

The situation in the Eastern European sunflower seed market is becoming more critical. It is virtually impossible to get Bulgarian bakery kernels for less than EUR 0.80/kg. The majority of offers are within a range of EUR 0.80-0.88/kg DDP Germany. Traders from the Ukraine currently also prefer not to submit any more offers. The reasons are the already high capacity utilisation until the end of the year and the highfarmgate prices.
